The Seasons You Never Want to Forget
Here's something nobody tells you.
I've learned that life has funny timing.
It gives you exactly one wedding day.
Exactly one chance to bring your newborn home.
One first birthday, one graduation, one ordinary Tuesday when everyone just happened to be together.
And somehow, while you're busy living those moments, they quietly become the stories you tell years later.
Maybe that's why people always say, "I wish we had more photos."
Not because they weren't there.
Because they didn't realize they were living the good old days.
For the Big Days, the Little Moments, and Everything That Comes After
Life doesn't stop after one milestone, and neither do I.
The best compliment I could ever receive isn't hearing that you love your photos.
It's hearing from you again.
Maybe next time it's for an engagement session.
Or your wedding.
Or because there's a tiny pair of baby shoes by the front door.
Maybe your toddler suddenly isn't a toddler anymore.
Whatever brings you back, I'd love to celebrate it with you.
I don't just want to photograph one season of your life.
I want to be the person you think of every time life gives you another reason to celebrate.
The Moments I Photograph
Not every love story needs a ballroom and 200 guests. As your Maryville event photographer, whether you're planning a backyard wedding, courthouse ceremony, elopement, or intimate celebration with your favorite people, I'll be there to document the big moments and all the little ones in between.
- Starts at $450/4hr
Whether you're newly engaged, celebrating an anniversary, or just want photos that aren't selfies from your camera roll, as your Maryville couples photographer, these sessions are all about documenting your relationship as it is right now.
- Starts at $140/15photos
The season where everything is changing and somehow standing still at the same time. From growing bellies to tiny newborn stretches, as your Maryville maternity and newborn photographer, these in-home sessions are about holding onto the days that feel endless now but somehow pass in a blink.
- Starts at $140/15photos
Sitting up. Crawling. First birthdays. Missing front teeth. The little stages that don't seem little until they're gone. As your Maryville milestones photographer, I celebrate all the wonderful in-between moments of childhood, including cake smash sessions and a bundle option if you want to capture multiple milestones throughout your baby's first year.
- Starts at $140/15photos
For the families in the thick of it. The snack negotiations, the silly faces, the kids who can't sit still for more than thirty seconds. As your Maryville family photographer, I keep these sessions relaxed, playful, and focused on the moments you'll miss someday.
- Starts at $160/15photos
You survived the exams, the group projects, and whatever that one class was. We should probably celebrate that.
Now it's time for the fun part.
As your Maryville graduation photographer, I'm here to celebrate everything you've accomplished and capture this season before life takes off in a new direction. Bring your cap and gown, your college gear, your best friend, or even your dog. Let's make it feel like you.
- Starts at $140/15photos
What Makes My Photography Different
There are a lot of family photographers in Maryville, but my approach is intentionally different.
Hi, I'm Victoria, the heart behind VictoriaT. Photography.
I specialize in capturing life's biggest moments and everything in between in a soft, timeless, and genuine way. Whether you're saying "I do," welcoming a new baby, celebrating a graduation, or simply updating your family photos, my goal is to create images that feel natural, joyful, and true to you. No awkward posing, no pressure to be perfect, just real moments you'll love looking back on.
Timeless & True to You
Trends fade, but a photo of your family laughing never goes out of style. Every gallery is edited to look like real life, not a filter. From newborns to graduates, this is photography that ages well, the same way your memories do.
Simple & Relaxed
No big production, no list of poses to remember. Just you, showing up as you are, while I capture whatever actually happens, the giggles, the chaos, the in between moments most people rush right past.
A little about how I work
I’m not going to line everyone up and ask you to smile at me the whole time.
I’ll probably ask you to:
get a little closer than feels natural
walk, move, and interact instead of standing still
focus on each other more than the camera
I’m always watching for the in-between moments, the way your kid reaches for your hand, the quick glance between you and your partner, the small things that actually tell your story.
That’s what I want you to remember.
So... Where Should We Take Photos?
Honestly? Half the battle is figuring out where to go.
The good news is East Tennessee is packed with beautiful spots for family and maternity photos.
Some families love the open fields around Maryville where kids can run wild without anyone worrying about grass stains.
Some want giant trees and walking paths like Sandy Springs Park or Springbrook Park.
Some go further and fall in love with Sequoyah Hills because it feels like you stumbled into a postcard.
And some of my favorite sessions happen right at home, or in studio, where everything feels familiar and comfortable.
If you're not sure what location fits your family, don't worry. I'll help you choose.
It's part of the job, and I spend an embarrassing amount of time scouting places that photograph beautifully.
A Few Things People Usually Ask
What kind of sessions do you offer?
Family sessions, maternity, newborn, milestones, couples and engagements, graduations, and small, intimate weddings or events. If it's a season of life worth remembering, I probably photograph it.
Where are you located, and how far do you travel?
I'm based in Maryville and serve families throughout Knoxville and the surrounding East Tennessee area. If you're outside that range, just reach out. I'm often happy to travel for the right session.
Do you photograph in a studio, outdoors, or at home?
All three. Some families love an outdoor location, some prefer the comfort of home, and a studio works great too. We'll figure out what fits your family during booking.
My kids don't sit still for photos. Is that a problem?
Not even a little. Most of my favorite sessions involve kids who refuse to cooperate at first. We just go with it, and that's usually where the best photos come from.
How do I book a session?
Head to the Book Now page, pick the type of session you're interested in, and we'll go from there. I'll walk you through everything once we're in touch.
